Title: Pork tenderloin
Post by: iCARRY on June 17, 2014, 02:52:32 PM
Decided to cook a pork tenderloin tonight. I usually roast them in the oven but tonight I used my kettle. Marinaded it in honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, vegetable oil, water, salt and pepper. Still don't have an injector so I just poked some holes in it with a fork. Set up the grill for indirect heat with a water/drip pan, half a chimney, all vents open, and a chunk of apple wood. Patted the pork dry, popped in my maverick et-732 and set alarm for 135. Took about 25 minutes, then reverse seared it to 145, tented in foil for 10 minutes. Came out great. Once again, there were no leftovers.

Nice cookup !!!!

Running it under a forking does just fine......check into Tony Chachere's creole butter or Cajun Injector's Creole butter for these.....both come w/ an injector strapped to the bottle....

Thanks guys.

Thanks for the link buckie. That's the cheapest I could find online. Ordered 4 different flavors and some buckets for brining.

Webrestaurantstore has a ton of stuff.....a lot of commercial people I see get stuff there, that's usually a good indicator..............

They're about 6 bucks @ the regular grocery, unless on sale...........

iCARRY looks great.  One of my favorite things to cook and my family loves them.

1buckie that is one of my favorite injections is the butter creole.  I think i have 4 or 5 jars of it on hand at all times plus I also use their BBQ Mesquite.  Those are my best two injections from Cajun Injections.
