Can anyone tell me about these grills? I just recently picked one up on ebay and was wondering about the dates of production for these grills and also how to determine the age on these grills?
-
Did you buy the one that ended on Ebay late last night? I think those are from early to mid 1990s. Of course the letter on the vents will tell the tale.

Hi craig, i picked up the grill a few months back. This one is the propane version so there arent any metal vents with the letter code stamp.

Not sure how to date a Gas GA , I have a couple I'd like to know the age of too.
At least you know Weber won't ask for a date code if you need parts for it :D

There's one that's been listed repeatedly in the Chicago area. Asking $25 http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/tag/3796417907.html

My CGA which similarly has wood handles is a date code P => 1993.

Did some research on the marlboro unlimited program. I think these grills were made sometime between 1993 and 1994. Thats also the date on the box and the user manuals

Good work Lami, is yours NIB?

Yes hogsy, mine is in mint condition brand new! I plan on using it though, waiting for the craycort grates to come in
