I dropped the lid on my gen 2 performer last night. This morning I went out to look at it and it straightened the handle. I bought it with it leaning 10 or 15 degrees. Now it's perfectly straight. I couldn't believe it. It was dark when I dropped it so I didn't inspect it last night. I didn't try and straighten it prior to this for fear of breaking the handle welds. Here is the results.

Lol. That's pretty much right in this case. I haven't put a square to it but I think that drop got it as straight as it can be. I still can't believe it. That lean bothered me. I did have to give it a hug. The drop made it a little out of round but it's perfect now.

Did it roll around on the lawn too? It not only straightened the handle but cleaned up that lid real nice.

That is pretty amazing!

The handle welds are very strong. I've tried to rip handles off by bending them back and forth and it takes a long time to do so.

You've tried to...what? There has got to be a story there.

No interesting story here. The bowl was roached and I wanted to save the handles. Was too lazy to cut them off but quickly found out that would be easier
