Title: Pizza
Post by: One Touch Platinum on May 05, 2013, 09:36:39 PM
I made this on my OTP using my Lodge pizza pan raised up from the grate by my coal baskets with a full chimney of Kingsford directly underneath it. It was on for about 12 to 15 minutes. I put the pizza on at room temp. and did not preheat the cast iron first.

Looks good! I've been working on sharpening my pizza skills, but I've been using more non-traditional toppings. I find I can control browning of the crust vs. browning of the toppings by how much the cooking surface is preheated. I've used both CI and directly on firebrick.
