I picked this up on ebay a few weeks ago but had it delivered to my grandfather's house for safe keeping. I'm waiting to break the news to the wife that we have a new bundle of joy as my collection is growing by the month.
My question is I'm hoping there is a Kraft logo in there as it's supposed to be factory sealed. Anyone know if this is black or the brick red"ish" color based on what you guys see here?

*UPDATE*
Well I picked up the SJ today and immediately I noticed that the seller lied about it being unopened. Not a huge deal but it was repackaged incorrectly so there's some light scuffs here and there.
Secondly this is and isn't a logo technically. It only has a logo on the handle and from what I can tell this was meant to be a display model in store for Louis Rich Foods.
Kinda cool it's a DD but also bummed that it's so plain. Came with a big stack of tear off recipes for customers as well as ad signage. None the less here's a few shots.

I’m going to play it safe. It is going to be “Color”. Lol I really do not know but a kraft grill SJ is nice in my book I’d keep the box.

@JayyyR - is there another label on the box that has the model number? If so, could you please post a pic (as well as a pic of the SJ when the box is opened)... I'd like to get this added to the Smokey Joe model number databse. Thank you, and congrats on the pickup!

So...are we taking bets on color & whether it’s a Kraft, or Oscar Meyer logo? The “OM” on the box makes me a tad curious. Oscar Meyer is a brand owned by the Kraft Heinz company.

@Bob BQ I have no other pictures ATM as I haven't actually put my hands on it yet. I plan on picking it up sometime this week and I will take some pics for the database.
Unfortunately the seller didn't double box it. They just slapped the shipping label on it so hopefully isn't too beat.
@brewtownbeatdown grate observation! I didn't even think of that. Hopefully I'm not getting myself too hyped up.

Kind of off topic but kraft singles are still my absolute favorite for burgers and grilled cheese. Some things you don’t grow out of.

Agreed. MGS2 still my favorite after all these years. And we all wish we could sling a revolver like Ocelot

Kinda cool tho still even tho its just a handle logo. I like the recipe card clips too. All in all cool little peice of weber and advertisement history

I ran across a Kingsford that had logos just on the handles, but it was an 18". It was also on the early white plastic handles. If memory serves, the Kettle itself may have been blue instead of black. Also ran across a very, very faded pic of the same Kingsford handles on here.

Have to wonder if its not in its original box? That last photo implies it should say "oscar mayer" on the handle! I dont know of Louis Rich....is it an oscar meyer brand at least?

If I'm not mistaken from the light research I did Louis Rich was under Oscar Mayer at the time.
@PotsieWeber A blue Kingsford logo 18" would be awesome! You didn't pick it up?
