Title: White wheel inserts - where to get?
Post by: GermanTex on April 18, 2019, 06:06:50 AM
Hello all

Does anyone know if the white wall inserts for the old style Weber wheels could be bought somewhere? I was told a member here has made them. I am looking for inserts for the 6" and possibly 8" wheels.

I know you can buy the complete wheels but often they are expensive.

Thanks a lot.

@Uncle Al made them, but he's been MIA for a long time.  You can also order wooden inserts originally designed by @zavod44 from grillhandle.com:  https://grillhandle.com/shop/page/4/

Found a good deal on eBay.  Legit OEM Weber wheels (2 wheels + 4 pushnuts) for $22.09 w/shipping included.  Comes out about $18.00 cheaper than buying direct from Weber.

@Uncle Al, has been off grid from WKC, for some time now. Hope all is well with him.

A 3d printed one would be cool
