I was informed of this by a member here! He asked if it was within an acceptable distance to me.
Blue One Touch Plus
(M Code)
It was at an estate sale in Leawood Kansas, originally $100, marked down 50% today. They were slow to respond to text, but I had tried to talk them down to 25, then 35, but I went ahead and drove up there. After looking at it I figured I should tell them how rough of shape it was in, and tried again at 30, she said 35 and she would throw in... I cut her off and volunteered the SJ that was there, cause she had previously offered to throw in a cooler lol.
So I got the otp, sj, A really brittle cover, a side condiment rack, and some charcoal baskets that have round holes on the bottoms instead of the oblong shaped holes on the other baskets I have. The ash sweep might even be usable! I will get some pics if it ever stops raining.
Thanks again brother!
Here's a pic from the sale.

Looks good. What year is it? I see it has the bail but no cash can.

The charcoal baskets with the round holes are probably the first generation Weber charcoal baskets. Not sure of the years they were available but they came with the first year MT kettles in 1992. As you can see in the photo below, they were taller than the current size Weber charcoal baskets. Photos are courtesy of @captjoe06 from another thread.

I thought they seemed taller when I just looked at them!
They have "patent pending" and "indirect cooking" stamped on them. They seem pretty heavy duty too.

When did they come out with the wire baskets (part number 960080)? I think they came with the old Performers. I have a set, but don't use them very often.

I'm about to clean some grills today!

a quick clean for now. The lid is really tight, I think its out of whack a little. I need to measure it or something so I don't make it worse

Grate addition to the family... congrats!

I'm not sure about the exact dates of production on either the wire charcoal baskets or the older ones pictured above. Yes, the wire ones came with the early SS Performers. There is no mention of the wire charcoal baskets in the Performer History thread.

Its my fanciest kettle for sure! I wish this Damn rain would stop so I could cook on it. I need to break these wsm's in too.

I hear that, I'm sick of rain. But the garden and grass is loving it.
