50+. Might be time to sell some off.
-
I sold/gifted four grills in the past two months and I regret parting with two of them.
I offered a Green SS Craigslist to a friend and I wish I still had it but I think he'll be happy with it and use it.
Sold my new in box Crimson Original Kettle Premium for $125 and it's just nagging me that I should have just kept it.
What's left
18.5 WSM
22 Black
Black SJS
Lime Green SJS
Brick Red 3rd Gen Performer.
Ultimate want- Red SS performer with gas assist.

-
I'll try to get years in the ones I don't know off the top of my head but
Faded black 60's thumbscrew. Bought to make a uds with the lid (well before joining here) somebody replaced the shoes at some point, sadly. At least I didn't keep the lid and scrap the rest, but never cooked on it or cleaned it up. First charcoal grill I think.
3 22" redheads, 3 wood handle era. One J one M. Not sure of the other..it's a little buried right now. I think the M might be a two tone. The J I converted to gold.
2 18" redheads. One mid/early 70s w the quarter inch whitewalls, one H code.
Copper Sam Adams 18", converted to gold
26" black DE-Mastertouch style
Copper SJG, Black SJG, both plastic handle
Gray create and barrel performer, 2nd Gen
Black SSP DH
I also still have most of the parts to a green ssp that I could make cook again
And last but not least, a 1977 MBH Lime, my birth year kettle.
What's that work out to, 14? Plus 2 WSMs. (And a Weber Q and a redhead Genesis)
-

Here's a 3 year old picture of the collection. The redhead was replaced with an Avocado. I gave away a Jumbo Joe. I have added an 18.5 kettle and a WGA since this pic was taken.

5 years ago left my propane tank on and drained it ! figured time to convert to charcoal ,gutted it and cleaned it to get ready when wifes friend at work heard what I was doing and gifted us a 85 black kettle .no sweep or shelf wrong grate, needed parts hit a brick wall called Winnipeg dealers were no help ,found this site answered all my questions . along the way something changed inside me , started dreaming about kettles day and nite .don't know what happened up to 4 webers and 1 tiny kingsford (I know but it was only $10 ) my collection stands at a 79 and 85 kettle jumbo joe and a 07 performer my neighbors peer over the fence and think I'm nuts .now spend my free time looking for more on kijiji our version of craigslist for a kettle of colour any colour ! am currently obsessed with finding one of those little toy webers that I see on this site . what a great bunch of guys you are ,comforting to know I am not alone in my obsession !

Hey @GregS. What the story with the blue 18" is that a new grill or something? It's got the new style bolt on handles. Are we calling those taco handles, everyone? Man, that's pretty!

@Travis thanks! that's the infamous UPS killed my kettle, grill. it's a blue wave 18 euro i bought off of ebay.uk and had a friend ship here. but in transit, UPS pretty much killed it. dents, dings etc. it was new when i bought it, out of box once for pics. but when i got it, bad things...
http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/the-waiting-is-the-hardest-part/msg180277/#msg180277
but i touched up the top the other day when she said we needed a second cooker, since the blue was the only "not new perfect" charcoal kettle i have, that's the one i grabbed. plus, you have to have an 18 handy. they're perfect for a lot of stuff.
i took off the taco shell and plastic handle and plopped a spare zav i just cleared with spar. i got a bag of unfinished handles a while back in a trade of something, i forget what tbh. but i always planned those handles to land on the euro's i'd been grabbing. they have a cool retro look with proper zav's.
i have a set of walnut or rosewood that are going on the lemongrass or ivory someday. it'll be a while though. i need a house with a proper deck and yard for those to come out of hiding.
-
@GregS That was one hell of a story! I had to read it a few times, in the dark, in the closet, with soft music playing cause of all the friggin models everyone was puttin up! That's a crazy deal about the, well, all of it to be honest, but man, you got one cool grill! I love those 18's. I really think they are my favorite. Take care! I'm gonna go back through that post again.... 😂😂
