Great looking PP Cavman! Were you able to cook it with one basket full of charcoal, or did you have to replenish it at some point? What kind of charcoal did you use? Were you able to taste the pinapple juice?

Awesome job, cavman! I like the idea of a ginger ale and pineapple juice spritz. I going to try that one.

Did not use a full basket to start. About a dozen to start with a couple of small chucks of hickory. Add another dozen to one side (modified minion method). Add a few briquettes as needed to maintain the temp and small chunks of smoking wood. Royal Oak for this one. The spritz was 50/50 pineapple/ginger ale. You do get a slight taste..

That looks really good! I prefer to use my WSM for that kind of cook, but yours is a good demonstration that it can be done just as well on a kettle.

Thanks... The Kettles are pretty versatile.. It is a bit more work for sure.
WSM and a 26'er are on my I WANT ONE list.

I don't recall if you have a mini-WSM, but if not you should add that to your list. They're pretty amazing for what they can cook and pretty economical.
