Todays unveiling of my @zavod44 custom handle on my go to Green OTP with a Crown Roast of Pork as the main attraction.
I LOVE the way this handle pops against the dark green

simple seasonings on the roast...let the meat do the talking. Kosher salt, fresh ground black pepper and Cavenders

cooked indirect and tented with both ends opened on raised pan to catch drippings for gravy.

And away we go...

Cooked @ approx. 315* for 3.25 hrs. (11.5 lb. roast) after resting about 45 minutes foiled closed.

No plated pics but the chops can be seen in the lower right corner...super juicy

Holy crap. Here I was scrolling through the post thinking how good that whippy handle looks on your Green then comes along the last shot. Oh my goodness! You da man today. Wish I was there to see that roast in person.
That handle is a museum piece.

That handle is cool. I would have never thought of doing that - I predict that there will be imitators...maybe me.
