Title: Wood Dale find in Germany

Hello everyone I have found a new grail and I do not want to withhold it from you. It is a 1963 Wood Dale Kettle Hard to believe that I have found such an old kettle in Germany. Here is the story ... The owner got him 25 years ago from a GI stationed near mainz. At that time the grill was already 30 years old and had no more wheels. The new owner has him mounted on a car and legs and triangel painted ... For whatever reason He barbecued it for 25 years and he was always out in the open. That's why he's a weather warrior too I restored it as well as I could. The original triangel will be restored, original wheels I will probably not get Here are some pictures....

You did an amazing job bringing that back.  Congrats on the epic European score...I can't imagine there being many other Wood Dales in Europe.

Great restoration.  That lid.  Love the patina.  Add your photos to both these threads as it shows them in one thread.

Very nice.  I'd give it some wheels, even if they are modern ones. No need for it to remain being an invalid.
