Title: Oldest WORKING cookers!
Post by: vwengguy on August 23, 2018, 10:33:36 AM
Lets see some old working cookers !
Kettles, SJ, JJ, CGA or WSM’s it does not matter.
Kettles that are pulled out of the museum just to be fired up once or twice a year are NOT working!
It must be a grill used 2-3 times a week to be a true Work Horse! The older the better!
As always.. Photos or it didn’t happen!

Patent pending avocado with metal wheels, which I’m guessing is 69-70.  It’s not used 3 nights a week but iS in my regular rotation.

Mine won't qualify, I do one big cook for the week then microwave the pre-cooked meals...

I know it's far from the oldest here, but my EZ code 3 wheeler has got if I have the date codes right, 2 Decades on her now. New to me, but was in the previous owners regular rotation, and is in mine now. (https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/sMkX92KXv2x91CNXXjd8qYc-yf0H8vgDv9OS7wUVaQ6HrzXjCUXVgodunjb3Q7pkvNnGOBu0x-YlK-mojcAHKeVGjRicVttICIOEcINxDV72hLBINDSer71WV-oJuP4tpTES6150dSkUSvl7lDSpAwvnqQIzr7Eve2jXLAQ_WNT7AAMsVrujqyjwx2538gUxonspcO5VSuELkI5Onv4DfKyKdsYK8Bm5YKKTTJ4G5X0a86eivdwd3lJ9NryBgeldPc3KFPDfPGi6B3csMnSGmblLTTvAkU4copEgymhyaE4p7dBcyqYa-ZwFqt5oiNo1Ej3zFTvksmd_r_pSUrVw1AdA67blaIJK6DR31JAJrVaO1qrZtqIpmWsnKclkjD3E7HkCtT9zulJqNo8hJG33r4ykJA4Lzbq1ZljaFHfFmIs8Ek5T4xDrgWQJHWR8ag4AkWS1K5IIJQBw_ly5Ef9cBqbNJmdgdqNMWYCwyA5jIr32YyGo8ZXYakP-_EdBaLARLbbbGip4FYa0x6L27dehyqvoxkziw_ARgjRBM8Wppfni8zg8qIgPYrG3TF7BwK9nK6TGneLcz2S_JRHakcN1kzzb0-KqxS1MMIhWVJTb=w600-h440-no)

The JJP on the right is new out of the box this year so I won't call it old, but the 2 put together are my regular cookers. Like I said, one big cook a week. 2 if I am doing something special. Which reminds me, thaw the brisket...

The pointy end does go into the motor... Euro roti kits do not have a handle on the spit rod... Ja we get dicked here... if you are dumb enough to put the square end in the motor you will be bitching about the slots in the spit not lining up with the ring.
