Why is the price of this blue GA charcoal going through the roof? Currently around AUD320 with 2 days to go. How rare is it? What is the production/sale history of this item that makes it so pricey? Thx.

Per this article (http://weberkettleclub.com/blog/2017/09/18/weber-go-anywhere-history/), the blue (and a few other colors) were produced in the mid-nineties. Judging by the price this is going for, and some comments made in the past by other Aussie WKC Fellas, this is a rather rare grill.

Thanks Bob - much obliged. The grill is nice but the price is too high for my wallet. Good luck to the winner.

It's pretty rare. People from the USA are likely bidding on it too

At the time I thought I was over paying for it but now I would buy 10 at that price. Still here in the shed with the other ones
