special thanks to @zavod44 for the special handles //my dad cut a blk walnut tree down in 1977 and had the tree saw into boards /// dad has been gone for 8 yrs now RIP DAD //. making theses handles out of dads wood is kinda like him being there with me while I cook

Whyte 0-4-2
Reminds me of a train.
-
did I mention I live in a train depot
-
Looks like you added the gas assist ? That would be cool to see :)
" Esto Perpertua "
-
Looks great.
-
Holy crap! I want one please? Ok we need details and such!
-
Almost begging for a SECOND burner tube ... for when 2 chimneys of fuel is desired. But it's pretty damn badass as it is! Very nice.
-
Ida connected them going the other way so id have a huge work area between two kettles.
You did good though, I give you a hell ya and a beer.
-
@Hell Fire Grill keep your ear to the track //I`ve heard something about just that /// think he said something about the twins // thanks for the beer
-
Very cool!
-
Very phucking cool.
-
Very sweet! Also, that is a cool little tribute you were able to do with the handles and no doubt every time you lift the lid you'll remember your old man. Congrats and enjoy!
Oh, and I vote for pacman. ;)
-
I thought I saw something interesting in that post last week!
This is beyond awesome. Now we must know how you did it!
I think SS Performers are about to become VERY popular... [emoji6]
-
great job @TexasOnion !
-
Lot of work and planning....proud end product you have there
-
Wonderful work there, it's like an outdoor kitchen! The craftsmanship looks outstanding
-
That is too cool!
-
Totally bad ass. Can't say enough how awesome that is.
-
Very nice! Looks like a train. It's a shame that Weber refuses to produce a product that the consumer wants so badly that we have to make it ourselves. Good job! Forward your pics to Weber, maybe it will motivate them to do something ...finally?
Ok, now on to a Ranch Kettle Performer...
-
Great Job. Got your pics. We'll get it into the Gallery in the Mod's section! Sweet!
-
That's a sweet looking locomotive TO!! I really love how you made it look like its off the Weber assembly line - no messin around!
-
Good stuff dude! That hinge holds the lid well enough?

Dear Weber,
Can you top this? Please Try.
-
Wow that thing is serious. I love it!
-
That is very cool. Any details on how you put it together?
-
WOW! I want one.
-
jeffs doing a write up
-
TO, that is amazing, great job.
-
I was happy to help out with the handles. The wood was beautiful and the story behind them was awesome. Glad I could bring a little history back and add to such an incredible grill......
-
Yup, a train was my first thought when I saw the picture. The Old 26, like the Old 97. The Old 97's are a pretty kick-ass band from Texas also. Alternate name could be The Texas Onion Special!
-
I just saw this. Awesome work, TO! I love that hinge - really cool idea.
