Title: Kingsford On Sale
Post by: Geezer on June 30, 2016, 03:17:22 AM
For those that use Kingsford charcoal, Lowe's Home Improvement stores has the Kingsford 2 of the 18.6 pound bags on sale for 9.88.  That's the price around here and I'd guess it would be similar in other areas.

Guess it's time to stock up. Any word on if there's a limit on how much you can buy?

Home Depot is also running the same sale through the 4th.  Limit 5 twin packs.

Thanks @Geezer, I was just looking at my supply this weekend and was starting to panic. I looked through the flyer for last week a couple of days ago and it still had them listed at $19.99. Will definitely be restocking.

No limit at my store.

Limit 2 at Lowe's and limit 5 at HD per my local (Sacramento) print ads.

Nothing preventing me from hitting up a couple local HD's, or me and the Mrs doing separate transactions  ;)

Just as an FYI, when HD ran the sale in the spring, there was also a 5 pack limit, but I bought 10 packs with no questions asked at the checkout.

Yep.  All depends on the store and their management it seems.  I've heard of them preventing over 5, but not preventing multiple transactions.  What that accomplishes is beyond me.

I noticed that HD didn't have a limit on their signs in the store as well!

Well that is a good thing.  Their website says "(Limit 5)" right next to the price.
