There have got to be more steps than even those many pics show. Really, no? I am astonished. Bravo to you both.

First time making pizza dough. And first cook on the Aristocrat. It's a little beat up but worked like a champ!
-
I'd take a slice of that. Dig that 26er
-
Being a Chitown guy, that looks superb. I'd like a slice , please. I REALLY love that sweet Aristocrat too. I'd love to find one of those someday, simply BEAUTIFUL
-
NICE pie, I'll have to put my "big Iron" into service for a deep dish!!
-
I'm more of a thin crust guy, but like a crustier pizza from time to time. This looks amazing. I'll have to try one the next time I have some dough made up.
-
That pizza looks awesome. Question though, what is your skillet sitting on top of? I see that its not on the grate. Is it an upside dutch oven?

@JDann24 it's sitting on top of upside down charcoal baskets. It keeps the bottom away from the coals so it doesn't burn and it's also hotter in the dome, and that helps cook the top faster so it gets done at the same time as the bottom.
And welcome!

Upside down charcoal baskets. Very creative, I'll have to try that.
