Title: Handle question
Post by: Jtayres on April 15, 2020, 03:29:52 AM
Anyone know what size the nut is that holds the taco handles on? I had one of those cheesy looking nuts burn out on me after a mishap with a pre-glazed ham... hoping to replace with stainless instead of buying a whole handle assembly.

The ham was salvageable but not the best.

I do believe it’s 1/4-20 as well.  I’d recommend using an “all metal locknut”.  They work the best when you need just the right amount of tension.
