Title: Pass it on
Post by: VAis4BBQers on May 12, 2015, 07:21:43 AM
I found a nice deal on an 18" silver. Picked her up for $10 this morning along with a chimney. I think I'm going to clean it up real good and pass it on to my brother who hasn't been introduced to a kettle yet. Really not in too bad shape for sitting outside for 7 years. Ash pan and grates were there as well.

Nice pick up. Give it a quick rinse and it'll be good to go! Are you going to show your bro how to use it?

@pbe gummi bear I'm thinking a bbq at my place will serve as a tutorial.

Is there an optical illusion here or is that an 18" lid and a 22" kettle?

Hell it might be time for my meds too...

Way to pass it on!
My first gifting grill was a black 18 too.

it's just because of the perspective(ie-angle/height of shot relative to size/height/placement of objects)
