Yes sir.

Great looking steaks man! I think the thicker cuts really do best with reverse sear. An inch isn't quite thick enough to do it right...
-
That is some incredible looking steakage! And a great job on the cook.
And I know that you are wearing that light on your head to see, I do the same thing. And look about as cool. "Did you get a free bowl of soup with that hat?" Oh, it looks good on you though.
Nice kettle.

Great job on those thick beauties!
-
Steaks look splendid. As per the light on your head......do what you gotta do.
-
Damn, those are some thick steaks, looks great!
-
Thanks guys, the first time I tried the reverse sear on thinner steaks didn't go well. They were overdone. I was a little nervous to try it again, but I have to say, these were some of the best steaks I've made.
Funny thing about the steaks was that I made this for some Brazilian friends of ours...I figured if anyone would appreciate a good steak, it would be people from the country that invented the churrascuria. I wasn't wrong. They LOVED it and said I could go to work at Fogo de Chao:)

Those look magnificent!
-

Awesome! Great looking steaks and that's a great use case for the headband light. How old is the kettle?
-
Kettle is a 1986.
