Post by: Wahoo95 on July 26, 2016, 09:48:31 AM
Anyone familiar with the Landmann Pizza Kettle? Saw one today in Lowe's but wasn't familiar with it.

Never seen it, but it looks like it would work.  Listed on Amazon for $225 and HD for $249, so that is a great deal you found.  Not bad reviews on Amazon.  One person who said he couldn't get it hot enough, but it seems like that's a learning curve everyone deals with when getting a pizza attachment for their kettle.

I wonder if it has a beefed up finish to hold up to the heat ? Otherwise it will burn up like its on re-entry looking like crap in no time

It's even marked down from $365 to $249 on the Landmann which makes me wonder if its just a good sale, or they are discontinuing it.  Parts are one of a kind so if they stop selling it chances are you won't be able to replace parts....like the 23" grate.

Yeah, I have a feeling it's not selling too well. Too bad they didn't make it same size as Weber or at least close enough to fit the weber bowl
