I dream of a chief and I lust for a ranch and get giddy thinking of a mothership. But what do I need that for?
Cooked 5 racks of ribs on my 22” weathered warrior.

My ribs got a enthusiastic thumbs up from a Memphis native buddy of mine. And everyone else gobbled up the ribs quickly too.

That's boss for sure! Nicely done.

They look great. Like the idea of using two rib racks to keep them straight. I have only one and larger racks of ribs tend to bow.

Wow now that’s a tight fit. They look delicious! How long did it take?

Started the cook at 6am and the grill sat at 220° pretty consistently the whole time. Pulled the ribs off at 2pm. Used hardwood lump and added charcoal throughout the cook. Used a weber charcoal basket for the cook covered with foil to tell myself the smoke would circulate more.

That's a really interesting idea with the foil! Last time I tried to cook more than 2 racks on the 22 it didn't turn out so well. Did you rotate the ribs periodically?

No rotation, movement or attention at all. All I did was slide the lid back keeping the ribs covered to maintain the temp and add lump to the basket periodically. Then pulled the racks off once they were finished. I did brush a Kansas City style bbq sauce on two of the racks and seared them a bit.

Thanks all for the kind words. Only thing I need is another 22 down here to cook the sides while I smoke the ribs.

Once again, managing a decent size cook. Cooked 44 full wings at once and they all came out great.

Underneath is kept simple. Just a charcoal basket filled with a small chimney of lump charcoal. I also add a lump of wood every now and then to add to the smoke flavor.
I used the foil to try to deflect heat from the closest rack of ribs.
