Title: Location of white wire on Performer with assist, pre 2013
Post by: Talus on October 08, 2021, 09:59:34 AM
So I was trying to get my gas assist to work, and pulled the white wire off by mistake.  It broke off with the connector and I can't figure out where it attaches.  I'm talking about the burner tube end, not the end by the regulator.  A picture would be super helpful.  I can't seem to find an exploded view on Weber's site that shows it well.  Thanks!

Call weber crs for help. Another way is to go to say Ace hardware, a box store and look at the gas tube and wiring locations use your phone and take some photos.

The white wire connects to the screw mount that holds the ignitor to the burner tube.

I wouldn’t bother replacing that wire. I’d just strip the end and slip it between the burner tube/screw/ igniter tab.
