Title: first ever with cast iron
Post by: LiquidOcelot on April 12, 2017, 08:01:01 AM
tri tip with weber steak and chop seasoning. basement potatos and whole carrots (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170412/d99b214f0e1a2075ef159ccbe650bad1.jpg)

came out really good. only used the ring to keep the carrots from falling through. was too hungry and forgot to take a finished picture lol

That's a very interesting set up. What the outer material made from? It's looks almost reflective in the pic.

Great idea on whole carrots. Keep it simple, right?

Very cool. I also ordered one when I saw the lowered price. It won't fit what I have for an 18 - a '69/70 patent pending. Using it will have to wait until I come up with a newer 18. Or I can give it to my son - I bought him a JJ to take back to Idaho for lineman school.
