Title: STL Meat Up!
Post by: Brain_STL on May 26, 2019, 07:29:26 PM: Okay fellers, it's time to make plans! After visiting with @Travis & @Bob BQ in the last few days it's time for the Lou-Crew to get the third annual meat-up organized. I'm willing to have it at my place again, however I've got a lot more room to work with this year due to the new home and parking is plentiful. How does June 29 or July 13 look to those that can participate?

Come one, come all! How about some of the Chi-town fella's joining in like us STL guys do with your meat up? KC? Indiana? (I'm born & raised Hoosier) Iowa? Nebraska? Tennessee? Arkansas? Kentucky? Let's do this the right way in the middle of the country!

@Dan NY brought a yellow 18.5 electric kettle from NY State to the Chicago meet-up on the AmTrak a few years ago.... not sure if he had to buy a separate ticket for it or not, though.... :D

From the sausage sampler to the tri tip, the bone in pork roast, the confetti corn, ribd and grilled peaches..... all.day converdations it was one of the best Saturdays in a long time!!

Tami and I discussed it last night, planning on it, that will be 3 meetup's in 2020 maybe we should shoot for 4

No black & whites ala Ansel Adams... definitely prefer color shots of these beauties! These are the Patent Pending and older kettles. I still can't get over the amazing condition of the steelies on @Brain_STL/Brian's Chief!

I met up with @Travis today, had a grate time catching up with him, and happy to hear things are going grate for him! I told him we may try a fall meat-up after school starts and he seems up for it , schedule permitting. Stay tuned!!!
