Pictures tomorrow of the new-to-me 18" redhead. (I know, not fair) Kettle is in near new condition. Triple wood handles are in great shape. Shipped my current 18 redhead today on a trade for a 22. BTW, USPS shipping from the East Coast to Wisconsin: under $18.

Stay tuned.

Wanted: 18" Platinum any color will work
This is my Kettle there are many like it but this one is mine......

Funny, for as poplular as the color red is here in Nebraska, I see VERY FEW redhead Webers. Apparently I need to branch out if I want to find my Holy Grail 22.5 metal handle (pre 1981) redhead.  ???

Jeff

Funny you mention not seeing too many reds in Nebraska.  Thats where I found my red Mastertouch that was still new in the box...and remains currently.
It was listed on Clist as "Cornhusker Red" charcoal grill.

Now this is one sexy redhead!

Had a chance to clean up the new girl - she's a '97 18" beauty! Will need a new top grate, but everything else is in amazing shape. Found this one near home here in Southern PA. A bit of oven cleaner (I ran out, so the interior still needs work) and Mother's metal polish is all it took. I used a little Watco Danish oil on the handles, and they turned out fantastic! This one's a keeper!
