Wound up with an unexpected day off today, due to my 3 year old's daycare (MIL) unable to make it b/c of the snow/crappy road conditions. Ran out of bacon this morning, and needed something to go with breakfast tomorrow... hmmm... nekkid fattie time!    

Fired up the Homer Joe. Added some pecans for flavor.


Threw on a couple of dogs for lunch, for the boy & I.




No smoke ring whatsoever, and bit of char ... had a nice, subtle hint of the pecan, though. Haven't done too much smoking on a SJ... still need some practice!



Oh yeah... USPS dropped this bad boy off today! Arrived a few hours too late to be used on the fattie... we'll have to give the 733 a test spin on another day!
