Nothing special, but I wasn't going to let mother nature win. I used the C&B, with no therm...
Burned some fuel, but I win! Roast Beast, Mashed Tators, Gravy and Corn...

That is some crazy cold weather.  Maybe I am getting too old for this but I have shifted my thinking, I would much rather cooking in the oven and help warm the indoors when it is this cold.  I do still grill in the winter but this much snow and cold it just a bit much.   Kudos to you though for representin'

We usually get your weather about a day later ... Maybe not quite that cold, but we get lots of lake effect snow.  :-\ :-\

Update, it was cold and made do with the leftovers. Not a good grill night...

I have heard of potato cakes, so off the cuff, made a version. Used the leftover smashed taters, added shredded beef, cheese and stuff...



One plated with gravy(added shredded beef} and the other sour cream. No sides tonight, made the boys hamburger helper...
