H clip handle removal

Does the handle just rotate and pull out ?
This seems pretty well stuck , dont want to break it . Tried search and didnt come up with anything .

Stick a flathead screwdriver between the washer and the bar, twist said screwdriver and twist the bar the such that the top rotates away from the screwdriver. It should pop right out.

Thanks gummie , that worked , i had to put a screwdriver in the handle to get leverage then snap bang thought i broke it !  Back to cleaning
