Sunday Flatiron

Before the s'mores, we had flatiron (reverse sear rare) with grilled zuchinni and garlic toast Sunday.  Should have crusted the steak a tad more.

These grates are char broil cast iron universal grates.  I have talked about them elsewhere, but for the ~25 dollar free shipping price I paid at the time, I love them.

They are an outer ring that sets in the 22 inch kettle, then and 18 inch ring that sits in the outer ring or can be used directly on a 18 inch kettle.

Thanks so much G$! They are $30 on amazon and I put it in my wishlist. I've been looking for a set of CI grates but haven't decided which I like best yet. The price plus being able to use it in my 18s is awesome. I will be ordering these pretty soon!

I hope you like them CS.  They are not the greatest quality, but for the price they are good value to me, and I generally prefer them over any wire grate.
