How much taller on your performer would you like to go?

The ss performer without gas assist did not come with casters so those frame parts to let it sit level exist.

Yup I have 2 SS Performers with gas and casters and one with no gas and no casters.
The casters are a POS in my opinion.  They never seem to roll right. The performer without the casters is just as easy to move as those with casters since I usually have to lift up the end with the casters to move it anyway.

I don't have one, but I know those casters.....office equipment.....I wouldn't expect them to last long & would try to fix something from metal wheels to replace them.......

Oh, Lawrence.....a project !!!!!

Blue - is your bowl drilled for the gas assist tube?  Just asking the question here as it came up in another thread.
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

Way ahead of you Buckie! Here's my ss with casters and off road tires. It's lifted 1" but I think I could have done more.

Sorry honey, no cooking tonight.  The grill has a flat.....

All joking aside, those mods are cool.  A true ATG.  All terrain grill.

Thanks, G. More like "Honey we can't cook on the Performer because I don't want to get it dirty before I finish it. True story. She is not amused but luckily we have other Weber devices.

I also stretched the work surface using all oem parts. I hope to be done with the grill in a few weeks.

You can see the raked stance too. It sits higher at the kettle. Not my proudest moment. Lol

I forgot to account for the taller wheels so it sits crooked. Luckily I have extra frame parts.
