A few weeks ago I needed a full size grill for a party at a friends house. It was a real Bitch taking the legs off to transport the 22  OTG kettle. My brother in law was throwing out a shower pole, so I cut it up. Need some end caps and paint.

Now that's a great idea. I like it.
A Wonderful Family!!!

Added some hooves from Home Depot.
Pack of 4 so I put the extra on the standard leg when in use with the wheels. I'll paint the legs at a later date.

That's really cute! First time I've seen that for a 22"

Awesome!!!!!
You won't be hanging tools on that low rider.
Maybe Weber could make a travel kit for standard grills. All that grill
Is missing is a low profile ash pan for easy removal during table use.

Today I went to the local restaurant supply store and bought a small pizza pan for my shorty 18". It cost like 2 bucks and fits like oem. I used a 8" pizza pan but the 22" may need something bigger.

Maybe I'll buy a wooden  handle tool kit and cut the handles short.

First cook on it was a success. I hung the tools on the gasser the hosts had. Everyone loved it, but no one understood it was a full size grill chopped at the knees.

Now you need to get a Slide Aside that way it will be complete, you
can store the Slide Aside inside the grill when not in use. I do this
on my 22.5.

Good idea. Amazon hunt tonight

I love my slide aside, every grill should have one. What's nice
is the lid goes full vertical 90D not 45D like the Mastertouch. You
will love it.

That is very nice!

I agree.  Well executed...

I've thought about doing this with an old beater to turn it into a red-neck fire pit.   ;D
Interested in ANY offset handle SJs you may have.
