Can't stay away, after thinking about things, I was doing exactly what I was complaining about.  I'm a foodie, I love to cook and I love Weber grills.  Even if nobody reads or comments, I'm posting and keeping this ship righted as best as I can.

That being said..... Kellee and I went to Costco Saturday and found some great deals on whole chickens, chuck roasts and baby back ribs.  Here's the chicken cook on the '97 Genesis - one of the best grills Weber ever produced; these birds are mainly for Beaux's lunches over the next week.  Both shredded, one in the fridge and one vac sealed and in the freezer for next week.  OOH did I mention that I got a new vac chamber sealer??  That thing is the bomb.

The weather was nothing short of spectacular this weekend.  Didn't get sealing pics, will highlight that beauty in a future post.

Cheers!

LOL...

My work is pretty close to home and I usually go home and make him a bowl at lunchtime.  He gets pulled rotisserie chicken, a little rice, chicken broth all warmed together and then mixed with his favorite kibble.  You should see what Kellee makes for his dinners... She usually makes him cubed sirloin steak cooked in the instant pot with sweet potatoes, pinto beans and rice to mix with the steak.  She makes it on the weekend for his weekday dinners.  We of course warm with beef stock and mix with kibble at dinner time.  He is so regimented and does pretty much everything on a schedule.  If we're late, he lets us know.  ; )

Awesome cook, double the fun !!
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

WOW - I thought my dogs had it good because they get a portion of everything that's cooked or grilled, but we don't
have a regimen like that! Their special treat lately has been chicken mcnuggets from McD.
Except for the kibble, I would eat and enjoy both of his meals. LOL Beaux has it made!

He does have it made.... the other day we were at the store and Kellee picked up a couple of steaks and I was actually surprised they were for us.

I'm sure Beaux would love McNuggets.  He usually gets a Dairy Queen ice cream cone when we're out.

Dayum ! ! !   Those are some fine lookin' yardbirds !

Funny you should mention leaving and coming back.  Don't about anyone else, but I have not been able to get onto this site for weeks, right after you talked about leaving.  I'd check a couple of times a week and get nothing.

Of course, just happened to check today and am glad that I did ! ! !

Thank you sir!  The Genesis cooks a great rotisserie chicken.  My goal is to make them as good as Sam's or Costco and they're darn close.

Nice Cook Greg! I am in the midst of an early Genesis Restoration right now with hopes to utilize the grill just as you are doing as it's primary purpose. I have heard rave reviews from others regarding the quality/ results of the roti in conjunction with the early Genesis models. Thanks for sharing!

You will love it..... chicken is very moist and tender with this method.  I did discover that this type of rotisserie basket has a removable rod and handle on each end - reverse threaded though.  Removing them allows all parts to fit in the dishwasher much easier.
