Ash Catcher for M model Update

Has anyone added this ash catcher on older models ?
I just acquired a M# kettle

Can you provide a photo of the bottom bowl and the leg sockets?  The newer ash catcher lip/tabs would have to line up

with three slots, which depends on how the leg sockets are positioned.

Thanks for the link, I ordered the ash catcher, slots on kettle wont line up, looks like I either have to use hose clamps or screw it to the sockets.

@big-gun   You can also use bailing wire to attach it.   I used copper wire to attach the ash catcher ring in this kettle pictured below.  I prefer this method as it is not visible like the hose clamps are and also doesn't require drilling as required using screws.

I used copper wire to install an ash ring on a kettle that the legs would not accommodate the ash ring tabs. 



You can use copper wire or bailing wire instead of the heavy gauge wire that is depicted in the WKC blog link I posted above.
