Red Kettles

I sold my Kamado Joes as my new house porch configuration just didn't mesh with them and got back into Kettles.  I miss the red color, how often does Weber release reds (not Crimson)?  Am I better off just checking FB Market Place for a used one?

The last 22” red kettles made were in 2017 I believe…. Coated in china according to research.  I have a few.  Some say they’re cheaply made and defective.  The one I use has many porcelain pops due to kettle pizza duty (banking coals) and high temp vortex cooks.  You can seek out one of those, or better yet a more vintage model that seem to have a better quality finish.  Don’t see them often, but I’ve found quite a few over the past five years.  Gotta watch and act fast….

My Red LE and my crimson get pretty dark, too

Wow, my high school graduation year!  I’ve got an ‘87 just like it…. Good luck, I’m sure someone will jump on that quickly.
