$30 find, bought it a couple months back mostly for the SS tool hooks to go on my Ranch.... It sat in my storage unit and I brought it home the other day finally.  I've got a lot of spare parts and ordered some.  It will live again soon!  Kellee said "roll it to the street" but I can't bring myself to do that to this old girl.... More pics to come as I progress.

Looks like a good starting point. I'm sure you will do it justice and it will cook again for years to come.

Thanks guys!  Something about fixing these up.... "I'll buy it for parts" I said.  "It's got tons of great parts" I said.  "I'll totally restore it and cook on it" I said.  Stuff like this is so much fun and the reason I'm here in the first place.

Love the red head.  Look forward to seeing the completion.
I try to do a few of these every year, but as of now, have yet
to find one this year.

Love it ! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Still one of the best for rotisserie with the side to side burners. I have a summit that can't even compare to the quality I get out of my genesis for rotisserie chickens and roasts. And by the way it's red, my favorite color.

I have some unfinished white cedar slats for both top and bottom and lid handle another member mode for me at least 10 yrs ago. Never used them. Just help with shipping and you can have them.

@bamakettles, I can probably get them to you this summer. Let me know if interested in me mulling them down to HSV.

Finally got some time today to breathe some new life into this ER code (1996) Genesis.  Not a full restoration, but more of a refresh....  New.... Wheels, axle, casters, SS flavorizer bars, grates, warming grate, ignition set, thermometer, grease catch assembly, tank and cover and the best part - new wood lid handle and replacement wood for the shelves.  BIG shout out to @dwnthehatch for supplying the replacement wood set.  You are the best!  Very happy with this rescue.
