I made a wooden handle for my Performer lid!

Nothing we haven't all seen before but I replaced my Performer lid's plastic handle with a handcrafted wooden one.

I've been learning basic woodworking skills/techniques and this was on my list of things to attempt to make.

Older thread but How did you put the groove in the bottom handle piece so it covers the metal, did you use a router?
