First cook on my new-to-me Jumbo Joe.
First recipe I'm cooking from Weber Smoke.
First recipe in the Weber Smoke book.

I started looking through the Weber Smoke cookbook which Weber so kindly provided for our June meetup and decided to try some of these out. The first one that caught my eye was Hickory Spiced Mixed Nuts so I picked up some salted mixed nuts the other day and I just made them.

Fire ready

Nuts on!

And smokin'

Done.

Very tasty! Well worth the minimal effort.

The recipe calls for 2C salted mixed nuts, 1 tsp brown sugar, 1 tsp cumin and 1/4 tsp cayenne. Mix and add 2 tsp peanut oil and toss. Smoke for about 20 minutes. I think I had it in for about half an hour.
