Alcon -
I've been a member for a year or so; this is my first post and at one time I had 9 kettles which is now down to 6.

I recently found a post for a kettle on sale which is a deep blue. I have never seen this color and wanted to ask for input from members on its origin and production?

I'm attaching a pic and was told it comes from ACE Hardware.

Any input is appreciated!

Hi Gringo,

The "Deep Ocean Blue" may have been available at ACE in the US but it's also currently sold as a Master-Touch model direct from Weber or from dealers. It's a really nice color and kettle!

Deep Ocean Blue was sold at my local Lowes a couple years ago and last year at Ace as an OKP at both stores.  Not sure if they still sell them there, but it is a very nice color

I like my Kettles like my coffee....strong and black.

2019 Black 26" OKP; 2015 Black 22" OKP; 2004 Black SJP; mid 70's Statesman; mid 70's Gourmet, 2017 Black CGA; 2000 Black GGA;

I get the impression the Ace blue and Deep Ocean are two different shades.

Now, I've never been able to confirm

Interesting! I've never seen the ACE blue before! Would love to see the two side by side

Man that's super nice too, even darker than the Deep Ocean Blue

It's basically Deep Ocean Blue with a bit more gray, and a matte finish.  Truthfully doesn't look different than Slate Blue.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! All great info!  Apologies for late response, had some travel come up unexpectedly. So, looks like I'll be adding this too my small back deck!

Thanks again!
