I need a rotisserie for my kettle. Has anyone attempted to make a homemade one. Can't justify the price to buy one from Weber.  Any help is appreciated!

Cheapest option I've experienced is to find a used kettle that happens to come with a rotisserie.  When I bought my blue OTP it came with a full older style Weber rotisserie setup - grill and all for $85.  It's been a great grill and I've used the rotisserie many times although never on this grill lol..

Only fire has one on Amazon for 130. Not sure if it compares quality wise to the Weber model though.

I buy them off craigslist offer up or marketplace
98% of the motors fit the Weber or Cajun Bandit mounts. I rarely pay more than $25.
I've got dual rotisseries on my Hasty Bake Gourmet, the 18/22&26" Kettle rings are all fitted with sized rods as is the Engelbrecht Santa Maria.
