Foster Dahlet

1.5 inch NY Strips hand cut at a butcher in Cartersville GA.  Homemade rub of 4 parts brown sugar,  1 part kosher salt, 1 part black pepper, 2 cloves minced garlic.   Reverse seared. Cooked indirect at 275 with SnS.   Took steaks to 115... then added lit charcoal to get temp off the charts hot and seared to 135.  Damn tasty.  Also had a bottle Caymus cabernet.  The occasion?  My brother is in town.
