I’m wondering…does the 3” stem under the vent get in the way of larger cuts like brisket or pork shoulder? I have an old tel-tru with a 3” stem. I was thinking of installing there but wondered about clearance for that length.

I have the same type of temp gauge installed under the vent on my 22 (13/16 fitting and 3 in stem). Hasn’t been an issue for me.
