Meatloaf Burger
« on: July 18, 2021, 04:32:16 PM »
I grilled meatloaf burgers tonight.  I set the temp on the Meater (Meater Block - Wi-Fi) thermometer for medium (145).  I started cooking and the determined cook time was 38 minutes.  It wanted me to pull from the grill at 133 degrees and rest for 6 minutes.  I waited until 142 degrees and don't you know the final temp was 154 degrees.  They were pretty tasty even though they were overdone.

Moral of the cook:  TRUST THE THERMOMETER

That looks good.
We have sliced yesterday's meatloaf and made burgers today but never thought of going straight to burgers. That's a great idea.
