cajun bandit rotesariey

Why is there two motor mounting holes in the cajun bandit rotesariey ring . One at the top of the ring and one at the bottom. Anyone know?

CB roti ring will fit a kettle and a WSM.

 By flipping it over, yes, it will work for both the WSM and a kettle
