So I was setting up a charcoal snake and I found Kingsford briquettes in my bag of Royal Oak All Natural. Check it out!

Perhaps Kingsford is trying to go upscale.

I found 3 K's in the bag, bought it last fall at Wally World - my guess is it's the same as K-Pro.

I wonder if they both ship in bulk to a common packaging plant?

RO makes so many brands of charcoal.  Normally Kingsford & RO wouldn’t likely have any dealings, but with the charcoal shortage last fall, Kingsford probably had no choice[emoji848]

Not a fan of Kingsford, but this would make it ok for me[emoji6]

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

I thought Clorox had all of Kingsford's manufacturing done in house.  You might be right though about the mess last year making them farm out some manufacturing to Royal Oak.  This situation reminds me of that bag of Weber charcoal I had a couple of years ago that had about half a dozen Royal Oak briquettes in it that gave me a surprise.  I did a post about it here at the time.

I'm still not buying any Kingsford though regardless of who's factory makes it.  I bought a bunch of bags on sale to try it out but didn't really like it all that much.
