Hello all. New member here from the Houston area. I have been a long time backyard cook, and have always been amazed at the versatility of the Weber kettle. I have looked at other smokers, and almost pulled the trigger a few times, but could never justify the expense of a higher end offset or ceramic, when I have been making great food all along on my Weber Performer and an 18” WSM. I figured Ed that I would cook on these Days beers until I could afford something “nicer”. I believe that with age comes some wisdom, and I have given up all of ridiculous “pit envy”, and really embraced the simplicity and versatility of the trusty old kettle.
Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself to everyone 🙂. This is a wonderful site, and I am happy to be here.
