I upgraded my Gen2 Performer lid bail Part number 65188 and went old school with the wheels.  I love the upgrade!

Where did you get the bail assembly?  I want to put one on my SSP.
2020 26" OKP; 2006 Q 200 Silver; 1997 Red Mist SSP; 2000 22" Plum OTG; and I'm gonna call it a 1975 Smokey Joe

Would a performer work for a lefty as it does for a righty if you simply stood on the other side?  The gas control would be on the opposite side, but for cooking ergonomics it might be a simple cheap mod to simply stand on the other side. With an SSP, the panel could easily be moved to the other side. I think that is true of gen2+, although you might need to hack it up to move the gas.

Sure.... just thinking it's nice to be on the same side as the lower vent control, ash dump access, utensil hooks, gas assist if so equipped and have the nice Weber emblem visible and not against the wall or deck railing.  I did the upgrade to my OTP but have not used it yet.  I'll probably have a spare lid free kettle close by and just put the lid on it when flipping meat and tending the fire.

Oh, I'm also hopeful for left handed tongs soon as well.  The standard ones are a PITA! 🤪

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

LOL!  Actually angled spatulas are my pet peeve.....they are actually backward for me.  I guess I just turn it upside down?  First world problems..... ;D
