I've been trying to come up with a cart for my 26er and just haven't found the right set-up.

My first kettle was a Performer with the flip up table and I loved how sturdy it was and how compact it was when not in use.

I always felt crowded for cooking space on the 22 so I found a used 26er and love the room but I miss the side table and it just doesn't feel as sturdy. Then I came across this cart for a BGE XL

The BGE XL outside diameter is 26.5" so diameter wise it should fit, my only concern is that there may not be enough room to remove the ash catcher - but I guess I could always cut those bars out if they got in the way.

pretty cool looking cart but pretty pricey too
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

SMOKen sure is proud of that one...geez wiz.  I would find a used Performer and mod it for a fraction of the cost.

It doesn't look like you'll have clearance for the ash catcher. You'd be better off modifying another table or cart.

I initially thought the same thing but the back section is separate from the rest of the upper "ring" and it's bolted down below. My thought is to just leave that part off and drill through the round tube in 4 spots to secure the kettle (maybe some lava lock in between?).

The Weber Platinum cart works for the 26" if you can find a donor on Craig's or OfferUp, etc.
