So this is a picture of the inside of lid on a genesis that is for sale near me. Is this fixable, or would this cause you to pass on it? What causes this issue?

If you like the rest of the grill don't let that bit stop you.
Its just a super thin liner that can be removed and tossed. I think only the platinums and newer Gennys have it. Insulates for heat I suppose, I'm sure it's great for rotis but I have never been able to tell a difference in the lid or lid with liner.

Typical looking liner. They will all look like that eventually.
Hurts nothing. They are spot welded in and can be removed
if it really bugs you.
