New wheels , swapped the legs from left to right
Because they were loose. Great idea from a forum member. Along
With the donated sweeps ( from another member),and two days with
A razor blade and steel wool ,all I got to do is buy a new top grate and she
Is ready..

Was lucky enough to come into possession of an "F" code Redhead today. Need some internal cleanup and some love on the handles.

@KevinP. What a beautiful redhead! 1984. Handles are hurting a little but you'll be surprised how they can turn out if you decide to sand them down to good wood. I was amazed! Congrats man!

@RottiGuy and @Travis,  thanks guys.  Any idea what I should use as a sealer once the handles have been sanded?  Any special kind of oil?

If replacing them is more of a route you want to take down the road, @zavid44 makes handles at very reasonable rates.
