Red Kettle Rich

May I join you guys?  These are the images that the seller posted - even has original Wooden Weber handles http://s2.photobucket.com/user/stl-rich/library/Red%20Mastertouch I just happened to have a Weber thermometer for the top handy  :D
Looking for a RED 26" Kettle & a tabbed no leg RED 22" Kettle near STL. Copper Sam Adams SJ anywhere 8)

This here post is a dual purpose post.

First, it's a pic of my freebie OTS score. My first redhead.

One of the local sheriff's deputies (a friend from high school) scored this for me from a neighbor of his. It was a sad sight. Handles rotted right off, broken wheels, rusty triangle. It looked a helluva lot better from the highway at 55 than it did in person.

Anyway, he got it for me and I felt obligated to resuscitate her.

The handles are some of Brian's maple handles, and he wanted to see how they looked on a redhead. Well, I've always been keen of three blondes on one redhead, so here you go.

I've got Webers. 10 - WSMs, 5 - 22.5" kettles, 2 - 18.5" kettle, 2 - SJS, 2 - SJP, 4 - WGA, 1 vintage Coolie Pan

Bluesman, I like to think that your gorgeous patio has just been waiting around for a red MT to show up and complete it.

Finally got all the kettles cleaned up and lined up (95 Performer, 98 Jumbo Joe, 88 One-Touch Plus (with ash can retrofit)).

The two 22s have Brian O'Neal (zavod) handles, which are better than perfect.

Fantastic family Mike! That Performer is really making me realize how badly mine needs to be cleaned. What's next on your list?

mike.stavlund

Thanks, Marty.  I gotta stop collecting now-- I'm all out of room (though I did sneak another one in today on a 'family heirloom exemption'-- more on that later tonight).

I'll still be collecting kettles for others, which is even more fun in some ways.

Gotta add my early 70's Statesman to the group......
